North Idaho Groups Hosting Free Meet-up for Teens to Learn How Government Works

North Idaho Freedom Fighters and Empowered Hearts Ministry are hosting a teen meet-up the evening of Friday, February 25 in Coeur d’Alene. The session is for youth aged 13 – 18 (parents are also welcome), and its goal is to teach teens how government works through interactive games and discussion. The meet-up is free to attend, plus food and drinks will be provided.

Amy McCamly, founder of North Idaho Freedom Fighters, said this event is not about indoctrinating kids into a conservative mindset like schools do with socialism. “I want them to understand,” she said. “Kids need to know what’s going on and be involved. They need to learn how to do their own research.”

McCamly moved to Idaho two years ago from another state after the Covid lockdowns started. She says Idaho follows the Constitution more than her previous state. “But we can’t take that for granted,” she said. “That other state didn’t start out the way it is today, and the same thing can happen here. We need to work to make sure tyranny doesn’t come to Idaho.”

The teen meet-up will be February 25 from 6 to 8 PM at 2775 North Howard St., suite E, in Coeur d’Alene [Map]. Questions can be sent to NorthIdahoFF@protonmail.com.
