Republican candidate Ed Humphreys has been busy campaigning around the state in his run for governor. This week, his campaign announced that they’ve broken the $100,000 fundraising mark.
“I couldn’t be happier about our fundraising progress in just a few short weeks,” says Humphreys, via a campaign press release. “It is meaningful because the support comes from regular folks instead of what you typically see in a political campaign. We’ve received no money from special interests, lobbyists, or Political Action Committees (PACs).”
An examination of large donors to Humphreys’ campaign shows that his large donations are, indeed, coming from individuals (see image).
