GC2 Ministries Schedules Boise River Baptism for July 19

MERIDIAN, Idaho — Baptism is a cornerstone of Christian practice, symbolizing spiritual purification, rebirth, and a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. Rooted in biblical teachings, baptism represents the washing away of sins and the beginning of a new life in Christ. It is both an act of obedience to Jesus’ command and a visible sign of inclusion into the Christian community. For many believers, baptism is a transformative milestone, signifying unity with Christ’s death and resurrection as well as a commitment to living according to His teachings.

Daniel Bobinski, Th.D., founder of True Idaho News and current director of GC2 Ministries, will baptize several individuals from the GC2 Sunday morning Bible Study on Saturday, July 19. The baptism will be near Julia Davis Park in downtown Boise.

Faith and Truth in the Public Square

Daniel Bobinski founded True Idaho News in 2021 to address what he saw as widespread misinformation from legacy media, particularly regarding health and medical issues during the Covid situation, but also to report on political and social issues. Earlier this year, Bobinski sold True Idaho News to Shane Klaas, founder of Shane Talks Politics, so he could focus on ministry. Klaas asked Bobinski continue contributing as Founder and Editor Emeritus, offering perspective and analysis on state and national issues.

A Shift from Media to Ministry

Bobinski, who also previously hosted both a TV and radio show titled “Keep the Republic,” says he felt called by God to step away from broadcasting and news media to focus on ministry. Both Bobinski and Klaas believe that recognizing the work of Jesus on the cross and receiving His free gift of salvation as being central to their mission.

Anyone who professes faith in Jesus Christ and has not yet been baptized is invited to inquire about being baptized on July 19. To inquire about baptism or learn more about GC2 Ministries, send a message:
